I dislike having a boss. I seem to reject the idea of bowing to a superior and doing what I?m ordered to do. I know this is a terrible personality trait and probably something I should just try to get over, but I?d like to work around it if possible.
If I understand correctly, realtors who work for agencies basically pay the agency for the privilege of using their office either by giving a part of their commission, or by paying a flat fee to the agency. Is that correct?
If so, then it?s more like independent contractor employment, right? Or do realtors who work for agencies still report to, and take directions from, a close superior?
Also, are realtors who work with an agency responsible for finding their own clients and their own promotional materials?
